I. Sanctuary Rental Terms, Rates, Booking Fees, Deposits.

Sunday - Saturday $100.00 Non-refundable booking fee/deposit (Will be applied towards rental fee balance) 2 Hr. Minimum $ 200.00 Additional Hours $ 100.00 per hour Audio/Visual Person: $25 (2 Hr. Minimum)

I understand that all booking fees (deposits) are required to be paid at the time of reservation, are non-refundable and must be paid to MOSAIC MIDTOWN.

I understand that rental fees must be paid in full one week prior to the event. Payments may be made by cash, personal check, cashier’s check, or money order. All fees will be deposited when received.

I understand the Mosaic Midtown Church reserves the right to cancel the event for security reasons or violation of terms and conditions.

I understand and assume full financial responsibility for any damages to the facility and or equipment in the facility during the hours of my scheduled event and or set up and clean up time. I further understand that in the event damages do occur I will be required to reimburse Mosaic Midtown Church within three business days after being presented with an itemized invoice for said damages.

I understand that all renter’s/occupants property must be removed from the facility at the time the facility is vacated and doors will be locked.

I understand that under no conditions are FOG machines allowed. I further understand that no objects are to be hung from the ceiling and that the throwing of rice, bird seed or any foreign objects within the facility is strictly prohibited. I understand that the facility is a no smoking/no alcohol facility. I understand that Security and Management have the authority to terminate the event should said event become unruly.

I understand that all music including live bands, will only be played inside the building and that no speakers will be situated in a manner that projects the sound outside of the facility. I further agree to abide by the City of Detroit Noise Ordinance.

All decorations, objects and property not belonging to the Mosaic Midtown Church are to be removed from the facility.

III. Waiver of Liability

I understand the Mosaic Midtown Church is not responsible for the loss or damages of any equipment, supplies or property belonging to the Renter/Occupant/Applicant or attendees.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Renter/Occupant shall indemnify and hold harmless the Mosaic Midtown Church from and against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses, including but not limited to attorney fees, which arise out of or in any way relate to, any and all personal injury, death and/or property damage in connection with their use of the Mosaic Midtown Community Room. This includes any act or omission by management, staff, and employees.

Mosaic Midtown Church does not discriminate based on race, age, gender, sex, or any other protected status. The property is church owned and it does reserve the right to refuse rental to any organization deemed hostile to Christianity.
